Intensive Yoga and Movement workshop

This workshop is an intensive yoga and movement workshop. During this time we will work on the whole body through breathing exercises, mobility exercises, strength & conditioning exercises, games and of course plenty of yoga with the aim of experiencing an intense, introspective and focused practice. This workshop will help you create a solid foundation and build the confidence for exploring more advanced poses, while also learning skills that will improve your practice as a whole but more importantly learning how to better control and use our body's on and off the mat. This workshop is not suited to complete beginners as it is intensive but I will offer plenty of modifications and props to support all levels. Pre-booking is required. €25 for this workshop. "Lets Get Hippie" Hip focused Workshop

Join me on this ‘Lets Get Hippie’ hip focused workshop as we work on strengthening, opening and improving the mobility of our hips.

The hips are a very common area of tightness and tension in our bodies. Majority of adults spend most of their time sitting and not moving so it comes as no surprise that the hips can be tight. Our hips move in so many different ways and I cannot stress how important it is to maintain and develop a healthy range of motion in the hips. Whether you work in an office, run, cycle, play sport whatever it may be you can benefit from this workshop.

During this workshop we will begin by preparing our joints for our practice with mobility exercises with the main focus being the hips. Joint mobility is something which is often ignored by most of us, however, it is an inherent mistake to make as our entire bodies rely on the health and wellness of our joints.

We will continue exploring the hips with a vinyasa hip focused flow with lots of strengthening and conditioning sprinkled throughout. All postures with be explained clearly and in detail with clear principles of alignment that will keep you safe and confident in your progress. The hips are an area where often physical and emotional tension can be held so as we flow this practice we will be able to delve deep into theses areas helping us to release and let go, increase our range of motion, decrease back pain and improve their overall health.

It's all about the core workshop

This core focus workshop will do exactly as it says on the tin.....work your core!!!! This workshop will be a dynamic and challenging asana practice suited to those who already have experience practicing yoga.
The core is the foundation upon which all movement is based. It stabilises and supports your spine and allows the body to move with freedom and ease. Every movement you make is initiated by the core and it is so important to keep the core as strong and stable as possible. A strong core will reduce injuries, strengthen your back, improve posture, increase balance and stability and will even aid in digestion.
Through this workshop we will work at activating and strengthening all sides "the corset" of our core. We will begin with breathing techniques, pelvic floor work and transverse abdominus strengthening exercises helping us to connect to our deep core muscles while at the same time learning how to stay connected to our breath. We will then move into some games and movements with the aim of having lots of fun and a few giggles along the way (hopefully;-)!). Our final stage of the workshop will be a vinyasa flowing asana practice working on building up to some core peak poses and ending our workshop with a long and no doubt well deserved savasana.
