Join me on this ‘Lets Get Hippie’ hip focused workshop as we work on strengthening, opening and improving the mobility of our hips.
The hips are a very common area of tightness and tension in our bodies. Majority of adults spend most of their time sitting and not moving so it comes as no surprise that the hips can be tight. Our hips move in so many different ways and I cannot stress how important it is to maintain and develop a healthy range of motion in the hips. Whether you work in an office, run, cycle, play sport whatever it may be you can benefit from this workshop.
During this workshop we will begin by preparing our joints for our practice with mobility exercises with the main focus being the hips. Joint mobility is something which is often ignored by most of us, however, it is an inherent mistake to make as our entire bodies rely on the health and wellness of our joints.
We will continue exploring the hips with a vinyasa hip focused flow with lots of strengthening and conditioning sprinkled throughout. All postures with be explained clearly and in detail with clear principles of alignment that will keep you safe and confident in your progress. The hips are an area where often physical and emotional tension can be held so as we flow this practice we will be able to delve deep into theses areas helping us to release and let go, increase our range of motion, decrease back pain and improve their overall health.
